Jesus and a Frisbee
That is kind of weird way to start a letter, right? Let me explain. I was a kid who was checked out of church which meant I did not really know who Jesus was. I did not really want anything to do with it. If it was not for a brave guy walking into my life and knocking on the door to invite me to play ultimate frisbee, I do not know if I would be following Jesus with my life right now. 10 years later, God has done way beyond my wildest thoughts and expectations.
If you were to stop and look at the stars, you may begin to think about how much more there is out there. We can't even begin to fathom the universe from our limited perspective on Planet Earth. The same is true for God. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 3 that it is hard to grasp- maybe impossible- just how wide, how long, how high, and how deep God's love is for us. From our limited perspective here on Planet Earth, we can not even begin to fathom how beautiful and majestic He really is.
Paul wrote in Ephesians 3:20,
"Now to Him (God) who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us..."
If you were to ask me 10 years ago, "Corbin, What is God going to do with you?" I would have never gotten it right. The same is true for you. You are in the beginning of your story. If you allow God to work in your life, you will experience the most amazing relationship you will ever have. It's kind of like looking up at the stars. It's just Beyond....
